Two new Bible Study Groups |

There are two new Bible Study groups starting up this month.
One is meeting every Tuesday at 7:30 at the church starting on 24th Jan 2006
The other is at the manse(35 Park Lane, Castle Donington) at 7:30 starting on the 19th January.
The 6 week course, each lasting about a hour and a half will explore walking with god based on the book "If
You Want to Walk on Water, You'Ve Got to Get Out of the Boat"by John
Ortberg. However its a good excuse to meet with friends and to explore
your faith in a lively and friendly way.
If you wish to attend either sessions please contact Dennis
Smith(Note Space at the manse is limited, so early
booking is advised)

Congratulations to Dennis and Ross on the birth of their first grand
child, Isobel May, born at 6:00am today. Also best wishes to Becky
and Richard, the happy parents

Castle Donington had another successful parcel appeal. These boxes are
destined for eastern europe for children who otherwise would not have
or know the meaning of christmas.
This year over 70 boxes were collected. Thanks to all involved

Congratulaions to Daniel for being accepted to Chetham Scholl of Music
in Manchester. Daniel has been playing the organ and the piano for a
number of years at the church and while his loss will be leave a huge
void in the church music, we wish him every success and hope he comes
back when he can to show us his progress.
